The folks at BzzAgent sent me the new Head & Shoulders Moisture Care Collection to try and review. In my package, I received Head & Shoulders Co-Wash, 2 in1 moisture care shampoo and conditioner and moisture care scalp soother. At first I was skeptical about using any Head and Shoulders product. Let’s face it, the brand is not known for catering to the African American community. However, after opening the package I noticed that the bottles specifically says “for textured hair”. This peaked my interest. The product is enriched with almond oil and coconut essence. I gave it a try. I used it on my entire family. I have two boys Brenden and Jermaine (ages 11 & 7) and my daughter Hazel (age 9). My boys keep a low cut, so for them, I used the 2 in1 moisture care shampoo and conditioner as well as moisture care scalp soother. For my daughter and I, we used all three products.
The smell is magnificent! For African American ladies, I would not recommend that you use the 2 in1 moisture care shampoo and conditioner weekly. You should use the 2 in1 moisture care shampoo and conditioner every 2 weeks. I recommend using the Head & Shoulders Co-Wash 2 or three times a week. The Head & Shoulders moisture care scalp soother is a product that I use daily for my children (especially my boys). A few sprays a day helps keeps their scalp moisturized which eliminates itching and dry scalp. The smell is incredible. No more scratching.
Head & Shoulders has a winner with their new product line that caters to textured hair. The price is very reasonable (under $4 per product) sold at most major retailers. Its about time Head & Shoulders! Thanks to BzzAgent for letting me try the new Head & Shoulders Moisture Care Collection for free!
